Notice is hereby given that if you are an elected Councilor for Welby Parish Council on 1st May you are summoned to attend the Annual General Meeting of Welby Parish Council to be held on Tuesday 17th May 2022 at 6:30pm in St Bartholomew’s church.

Agenda

1. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman for Welby Parish Council.

Councilors to vote on the position for both Chairman and Vice Chairman

2. Confirmation of eligibility and quorum

To confirm eligibility of councilors and quorum present to make a legal meeting.

3.   Declaration of interest

To receive declarations of the existence and nature of any private interest, both disclosable and financial and any other registrable interests, in any matter to be considered or being considered.

4.  Public Representations

To receive items and comments from members of the public.

5. Minutes

To authorize the Chairman to sign the minutes of the meeting held on 10th May 2021 as a true and accurate record.

6. Asset Register

• To review and approve Welby Parish Council’s Asset Register; and
• Nominate Councilor to carry out Health & Safety Inspection of Assets with The Clerk.

7. Review Policies and Procedures

To review and approve updates to the following policies, procedures and practices for Welby Parish Council:

Welby Parish Council Complaint Policies and Procedures: update clerk’s details and raise policy version to 1.1 

Welby Parish Council General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and policies: update clerk’s details (about halfway through document) and update review date (end of document) 

Welby Parish Councils Standing Orders: update clerk’s details and raise policy version to 1.1 

Welby Parish Council - Risk Management & Assessment Policy: remove the year 2020 at the end of the document

8.  Insurance

To confirm Welby Parish Council Insurance Policy.

9. AGAR return

Agree and approve the AGAR return for 2021-22.

10. Finance

Review and approve Clerk Salary for 2022-23.

11. Dates of ordinary meetings

To fix the dates and times of ordinary meetings of Welby Parish Council.

12. Urgent business (*)

To consider any urgent business.
