5. a) Reducing speeding through Welby
-
Speedwatch team have currently ceased activity due to the Covid-19 requirements.
b) Fundraising strategies for Speed Indicator Devices (SID).

Clerk reports we have still been receiving contributions from the local parishioners towards the costs of the SID and white fencing projects. Total contributions received to date (1-3-21) including the contribution from LCC = £2,745.00 – thank you. The original target was £3,500 although this is being reviewed due to higher than expected quotes for the gates.

Extend process for sourcing the purchase & installation requirements for the SID system. In addition, obtain alternative quotes for installation of the White Gates and begin LCC permissions.
6. County and District Councillor Reports (if Councillors present at meeting)

11. Village Matters

Concerns raised regarding the ‘new’ village hedge on village green as some saplings appear to have died off. Should we be planting new ones now – it’s Springtime?
